Death Rate Down

Improved treatments in the last 10 years have pushed breast cancer death rates down by about 25 percent in the United States and Britain among young and middle-aged women, researchers said. Already 60,000 deaths have been avoided in the two countries because of the treatments, chemotherapy and tamoxifen, experts said.
